Ladies and Gentlemen…The Redeemers by Michael Scott Miller
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This readable indie novel about a down-and-out manager who assembles a band of others in need if a second chance suffers from the typical indie novel malady: too much tell and not enough show. In fact, the book is mostly tell. However, the author does know how to push emotional buttons, though, and should produce interesting work as his writing improves.

Interesting comment about the indie novel malady: too much show and not enough tell. Joke, right?
Wish it was a joke. Wrote it in a bit of a hurry and bargled it up. Thanks for catching that!
