As most community theater groups, this production was in desperate need of male actors. After some sweet-talking and arm-twisting, JCF agreed to playing one of the Nazi soldiers who shows up at the end of the play to take the Franks away.

Admittedly JCF isn't a huge Neil Simon fan, but as he says, "I always get my arm twisted somehow to try out for Simon shows. At least he writes interesting character roles." JCF plays Victor Velasco, the bohemian upstairs neighbor who is brought in to romance the mother of one of the play's newlyweds.

Random Acts of Music
RAM is back and we're still bringing music back to the people! This time RAM is focusting on local singer/songwriters performing originals in intimate acoustic settings. JCF is once again writer and segment producer for this half-hour music magazine, co-hosted by Henry J and Heather Andreas. Yes, JCF was the evil Constable in Fiddler on the Roof. Well, he
wasn't really evil; he was conflicted between friendship, cultural differences, and duty. Anyway, word has it that he was pretty good in the part, but he forgot to post that he was in it until months after the fact. Sorry.

JCF will appear as part of an ongoing celebration honoring the grand opening of the remodeled library in Canton, Ohio. At this writing, JCF is scheduled to read from a work in progress and field questions from the audience. He will also sign copies of Ferman's Devils and Boddekker's Demons.
Random Acts of MusicJCF is a writer and segment producer for this half-hour music magazine hosted by Maxx McLain, "the most dangerous woman on television." He is also hosting two segments for the program, "Random Acts of Coffee" and "Random Acts of Internet," and will appear in a third, "Random Acts of Music - The Single."
